i am using the UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 modem, in the September or October, i made some changes in the modem configuration regarding the WIFi settings, then also there was no problem , and in the middle of November i took my Modem to the BSNL TTO & checked it once, is checked it given me telling every thing is right, till the end of November every thing was fine ..
from the December stating onwards the DSL is not at all stable...
when ever i am starting my modem, the DSL is fluctuating 3 times in 10min , i not getting any thing what happened to it...

can any body tell me what is the actual problem...

    1.
Check my signature link/s for settings for WA3002_g4.
    2.
Check whether Client_tr069 has been enabled
    In Management Menu. Uncheck box.
    3.
IN DSL menu page un check Adsl2 + Mod mode

    4.
In DNS enter google 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220 220
    SAVE Reboot.

    5.
    Check
Statistics ADSL SNR ATTN d/l U/L data
    BEFORE and after above tweaks.
    6.
Ensure ALL phones connected ONLY to ADSL splitter PHONE port.

    Feedback.

    1. Check your splitter. Make sure that all connections come after splitter.

    2. Check with a friend's modem at your place (if possible).

    3. Reset the modem to factory settings and reconfigure it. Attempt only if you are confident of doing it.

General hint: Back up the configuration of your modem/router to your PC, if it has this facility. Do this before changing anything. Especially do this before attempting a reset.

Another thing to try is to connect your modem direct to the wall port with no splitter

i haven't did any changes in the connections at the splitter, it is every thing perfect at the splitter...

i have also called the line man to once check the line, he checked ever thing and said that every thing is clear..
when i took the modem to the TTO, he told me to check the line...
the BSNL people are just blaming on each others...

... Don't know your particular model, but you need to get to that modem config page first anyway.

unplug and replug. It can help if a connection has gone slightly bad.

it is likely that some members get pollution through smokes from kitchen or acid fumes from bathrooms. If so, the modem connections can get slightly tarnished. it could be observed. Can be carefully cleaned without applying much pressure on the gold plated wires inside.

the best is to reset and program afresh, provided KSR1989 is sure that the telephone line is free of loose joints.
The 2 wire line cord connectors would have tarnished, and they could be cleaned by using a needle.
