Thread: Connecting bsnl broadband on mobile from Wifi modem

i have nokia c3-00.

i have bsnl broadband.

on the bottom of my modem it is written "RESIDENTIAL ROUTER 1600"
and on the top it is written NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORK and BSNL BROABAND
it is wifi enabled, i have used it on my laptop before.
i am able to connect to this wlan but i can't connect to bsnl broadband

please help me!

Instead of Using a "Dialer" change over to "Always On" mode.
In LAN page of router enable DHCP.
give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.168.1.10
Enable UpNp
Save Reboot.

Check wifi works in laptop.
Same SSID ( or wireless network name given by you)
should appear in cellphone.
Check my signature link

Menu pages may be same. Select Chennai link.

how to enable UpNp ?? and my wifi works in my lappy and same ssid appears in my phone what is signature link? and chennai link has different menu(slightly)

In Advanced options
select WAN
edit
uncheck "bridged"
select PPPOE box
next
enter your userID/Pw etc.

my network authentication should be WPA PSK ryt? in wireless page.

it didnt solve my problem

doesn't connects automatically and i tried the above proccess again and changed the username and password and its working,
but modem doesnt connects by himself...i gotta use dialer....

IF you have to use "DIALER" to connect to Internet,
you have not saved the changes by
selecting MANAGEMENT menu.

i have done those things

but without using dialer I am only able to access orkut and google sites...
