Thread: BSNL error in usage calculation and billing. please help!!

actually i converted from home 250 plan to home BB 500 monthly plan so that i can download freely at night unlimited...
i got its change confirmed from help care i.e. 1500 (phone no.) and also my local bsnl office verbally.
Now i am getting a bill of 25000 for the months of sep, oct and november.

i was able to download my november usage and checked it. the problem is with the bsnl calculation at the title my bsnl broadband plan is "BB 500 home monthly" but under it the monthly charges are Rs.250+modem charges also the usage calculation and billing is as per 250 plan..

Please advice me what should i do to get it corrected. i live in haryana (ambala)

Try talking to the Accounts Officer. Please mention your location and which portal do you use to check the usage. Check in the portal and get a pattern of your usage. There is a special relief scheme called " Samadhan " which is now available for existing customers too. Check with AO.

If nothing works, complain to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. ID and phone no on the backside of your bill.

Before all, swith to an Unlimited plan. UL 499, UL Combo 625 (both @ 256 Kbps) or UL 750 or UL 750 combo (both 512 Kbps unlimited).

Difference between Home250 and Home500 is daytime download limit.

Why you should get a Quarterly bill, when all over India it is mostly
monthly or some circles Bimonthly ?

Total usage ( less Nu) 2.5 GB

Daily entries : is there overlapping downloads
say 0100AM to 0800AM counted as charged ?
or the meter splits the recording exactly at 0200AM and 0800AM ?

Get fast data usage page as excel for Sept Billed and Oct billed
immediately.

In "My orders page" which date is shown as "provisioned " for
Home 500C ?

. Assume 2.5GB as free download for each month.
.Approx only 39000 or 40000 MB seems to be excess download ( 3 months).
You have to show that this d/l was done between 02AM and 08AM.
