On an average, my BSNL broadband connection (at Vikas Nagar, Roorkee, Uttarakhand) gets out-of-order atleast once every 3-4 months. I have encountered various kinds of problems in past, for example - (1) more frequent problem is that the ‘Link’ light keeps on blinking without connection being established, (2) sometimes it gives "Error 678: The remote computer did not respond", (3) once relevant “port” at BSNL end was required to be replaced, (4) and few months back, my modem was made to replace.
But the more unfortunate part is that whenever I report the problem to BSNL authorities (either telephonically to concerned technician of the area at phone number 01332-212101 or by written request to BSNL, Roorkee), I need to wait many days for my broadband connectivity to be restored.
Just to quote the current example, my BSNL broadband connection (at Vikas Nagar, Roorkee, Uttarakhand) is not working for last 8 days (since 21 January 2011). Inspite of many telephonic requests to concerned technician of the area at phone number 01332-212101 and also written request to BSNL, Roorkee on 25 January 2011, my broadband connection has not been rectified till now.
I again request the BSNL authorities to look into the matter and get my broadband connectivity immediately restored without any further delay.
