    Thanks for the update.

When I was in mumbai, Local ISP were offering 1Mbps UL for 500/- ... Seriously it was an unlimited one... Comparing with that in South plans seems costly....
Sometimes in night we used to get 2 Mbps as well...

You need to check with the SDE. Ask them to remove the cap. A few users had to try this way.

    For Existing Customers -

As per the below circular Old plans shall continue for existing customers.

    But the worrying part is

" Efforts may be made to migrate these customers to other plans "

BSNL has revamped its Tariffs structure and kicked out some of the plans which were popular some sector especially night unlimed (Home 500 with 2.5 GB free download limit)

However usage charges have been moderately reduced

PS: the plans are effective from 01-02-2011 only

Those who complain about the image. Download this xls file - Click here

I am on BBG Combo ULD 1350.

No change yet in Kolkata. Anyone from Kolkata getting the increased bandwidth?

Maybe it will take a few weeks for BSNL to implement the upgrade across all the circles.
