    Default Plan not changed after 9 days

    Hi, I have appleied for plan change from 500 combo to 750 ul combo on 28th january 2010 in exchange by written latter.They changed my plan infront of me and add 750 combo unlimited plan in my account..and it's been 9 days still my selfcare portal shows my broadband change plan request open.

    So what i checked it in exchange and their side also confirmed that My request is open on 4th february....

    So i tried to change plan through selfcare portal, burt it didnot help as it says you can not create request as your previous request is open...

    So i applied through udaan lead create today...lets see what happen!!!!!

    What should i do?

    Try talking to some one responsible at the exchange where you gave the application. Plan change application need to be approved by administrative section, then by tech department, and then by NIB Bangalore. May be it is still to get approved by the Bangalore office.

    same problem here i apllied to change from 500 to 750 those retards capped my speed @ 512 kbps but the plan still is home 500 .

    my speed does not reduce and the plan still shows 500 combo...

    Red face self care portal does not update fast enough!

    when it comes to Tata Photon plus prepaid remaining MB/GB balance and validity end date , I could only get info by calling them over phone(toll free) . 70% of the time the customer service could access the a/c (remaining time -standard answer "their internal network down".I could never get any updated info from their portal.
    But after many attempts to customer service over phone, now I get sms daily exactly around 7.59pm containing the remaining Data balance and validity. It comes in even in roaming- My andhra Tata photon balance sms comes to a T.Nadu phone daily!
    Gone are the days I used to recharge monthly Rs 1350 for 10GB.Now only Rs 250 for 250Mb every 30th day to keep it alive and carry forward. (Now-BSNL 3g 6 months pack @4200 is running the main show and photon is 12th man for emergency)
    weekends BSNL -slow-(Normally I get around 3mbs at this time of the day)

    Default Tata Indicom?

    I am not user of tata indicom. so how can i have the username and login id.
    I have bsnl broadband connection.

    It seems like selcare portal shows the error since yesterday like

    "SAP WebAS Engine is starting...

    If this state does not change within a few minutes,
    please contact your system administrator.
    Check the recommendations in SAP Notes: 943498, 764417

    Message: Dispatcher running but no server connected!


    Details: No details available"

    Presume you tried at selfcare.wdc.bsnl.co.in
    Did you register earlier and could acccess details about your broadband ?
    I don't find your location listed in wdc list.

    The proxy server could not handle the request GET /selfcare.

    2.Yes you are right my location not listed in portal list.But i presume that gujarat is in west region and so all the gujarat connections go to selfcare.wdc.bsnl.co.in . I have register at selfcare and yes it do show my broadband connection status and my bills details.
    3.I have 14 digits portal id and password but since last september i am directed at selfcare portal when i login using my 14 digit portal id on data.bsnl.in
    4.will try tomorrow.

    It is luck by chance with BSNL.For my home BB i applied for plan change on 4th feb & it was changed on 5th Feb itself.For my off no i have asked the 1504 for the change they gave me a ticket no but the plan did not change.Later I tried Udaan site still it remains unchanged.Again went to selfcare ,applied for plan change but still nothing happens.Now the 1504 people are telling me again to visit the local xge.

    As there is some technical problem . two different types of system are there in BSNL BB one is OLD one we can call P2 in which only BB is feasible and other one is p3 in all other services including BB is available(IP TV,VIDEO on demand,GOD) etc. when some body register through net for plan change and it is in p2 then their plan is not changed due to some technical reason and they have to change this plan manually in system and the request may be in error and pending.

    But in p3 it is changed automatically .

    Generally variable speed (e.g. 4 Mbps upto 8 GB , 256 kbps beyond 8 GB )
    plans not working in P2 (59.xx.xx.xx series ip) network but exchange people can change network if u insist for that plan only

    Yea these all plans are variable speed plan so it is not possible to implement these plans in p2.

    Finally my plan changed after i requested to officer in exchange.He checked and tell me that your request remain pending because your old plan not deleted....so he contacted to district main office and that solved it.....

    Does 500 home combo and 600 combo stopped?

    Udaan site and bsnl site shows in list...

    I just spoke with 1504 broadband custmer care and the guy told me that he will register my complain of changing plan but it will be effective from 1st march.

    If possible visit the exchange and give a plan change application. Complaining about the absence of plan in plan change list may not yield results.

    I was on 500 combo upto 6 th feb and from 7 th i am on 750 uld combo...

    Default BB 750 ul combo?

    I have received a strange mail by bsnl in my data.bsnl.in , That Your current Broadband Usage has crossed the free-limit of 1.5 GB. This mail came to me on 10 feb....

    previously i was on 500 combo plan and i have given written complain on 28th feb and my plan changed to 750 combo on 7th feb, there was a call from exchange that your plan has changed...I have also see on wdc.selfcare.in that my plan on service request is 750 provisioned....also in broadband usage show unlimited and chargeble units are 0 mb.....

    Then why this mail came?

    I think you are safe. Still try talking to the Accounts Officer. Forward him the mail and ask for clarification.
