Thread: problem using e63 via bsnl router

hello,
I recently purchased nokia e63...but m not able to connect it thru my bsnl router having model no as WA1003A...but as soon as i switch on my modem..my phone shows d wlan status as "wlan WA1003A found"..but weneva i connect it aftr few seconds it throws d error as "no gateway reply found"...i also tried 2 set the ipv4 address in my phone manually but still its not helping n is throwing d same error..moreover my broadband is connected via usb n not the ethernet...n wen i move to the router settings using d ip address "192.168.1.1"home...>status...>dhcp clients...>...it shows no DHCP client connected..is this information enuf..plss help me....plllssss

1. Configure your modem in PPPoE mode.

2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of your modem, set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

If you are using a laptop and has Windows 7 Home Premium or higher, use " Connectify ". It will covert your laptop into a wifi hot spot.
