Thread: UT300R2U problem

I have been using BSNL broadband for the past 3 years . Everything was working fine . But for the past one week I am facing some problem with my modem UT300R2U . The problem is that the modem turns off automatically and again it turns itself on automatically after a few minutes and the internet connection gets disabled and again I have to connect .At First, I thought there was a problem with the adapter so I changed it but the problem still persists . I have already lodged complaint to BSNL it's been almost one week and still they haven't reported me . So I hope that I will find answer to my problem here . Please reply as fast as possible , as this problem is causing great inconvenience to me .

How do you connect ?
"Dialer Mode" ( userID/PW entered in computer window)
or
Auto log on PPP/PPPoE ( userid/PW stored in "WAN" page "?

try to change the DNS entries in Advanced options/DNS
enter 8.8.8.8 and 208.67.220.220

Also Under Management uncheck box Client_tr069 IF SEEN.

Uncheck Box ADSL2+ in menu item DSL

Try one by one.
Feed back item wise.

If possible post Device infor/Statistics/ADSL data
showing SNR/ATTN Line rate etc.

Check link given below also. ( UT300R2U/ 220 BX)
If an OLDER model confirm ( menu pages will be different )

I feel that modem turning OFF and back ON, might not be with configuration. Purely hardware issue-- like faulty switch. i had enjoyed this issue with a unit in my brother's house. he bypassed the switch and everything is fine later.
