Default Need Help to set up VOIP w/ WA3002G4 Router

I recently sent a NetTalk Duo VOIP device to my Dad. He tried connecting it to the UTSTARCOM WA3002G4 router, it works fine for a few minutes and then wouldn't work. I posted the same in Nettalk forum and they asked me to set up Static Ip for the NetTalk mac addresss and setup DMZ. Tried that yesterday over remote login and couldn't find a setting to set a static IP for the nettalk mac address. There is a DMZ setting but all I see is a text box to input IP address. If someone can explain how to do it that will be of great help.

Your help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

    Do you connect in
    (a) "Dialer" mode ( ID/PW entered in computer window )
    Or
    (b) "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode ( ID/PW stored in modem wan page)
    preferred.

Enable DHCP ( in LAN page )range 192.168.1.3 to say 192.168.1.10
Uncheck Mod mode ADSL+ box in DSL menu page ( for stability)

    (c) confirm you can access the settings of the ( modem) unit supplied by them.
No need for static ip etc.
(the address of DUO can be entered in Port triggering option
    Port numbers needed )

( I am using Vonage last two years .No problem )
    SET UP SIMILAR.

    (e)
Presume computer connected with rj45 from Lan1 of wifi router.

( f) MAC address of DUO can you see it in the unit label ?

I was using vonage for a year and never had problems. I believe I am using "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode.

DHCP is already enabled and the range is set to 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.255. Will change to the range you specified. I dont know about "Mod mode ADSL+" will check and let you know.

I did not understand which modem?
If you can tell me how to do the port triggering, that will of great help.

I dont have a router. I am connecting the VOIP adaptor straight to the BSNL modem. I am using the same setup as the vonage adaptor I had.

    (e)
Presume computer connected with rj45 from Lan1 of wifi router.
I am using wireless connection for laptop.

( f) MAC address of DUO can you see it in the unit label ?
I can see that on the device.

If you can tell me how to do the port triggering, that will of great help.

    In wa3002_g4 Advanced Options
    NAT Port triggering.
: example shows 192.168.1.100( LAN IP should be in range
    DMZ not used.

Typically you are asked only to provide port number or range,
along with the protocol and the IP address of the netTALK device.
It may ask you for a public port and a private port per forward.
    An example would be...
Model: Private start port - Private end port, Protocol, Private IP ++
Public start port - Public end port, Protocol
    Example: 5060 - 5060, UDP, 192.168.1.100 ++ 5060 - 5060, UDP
    Example: 10000 - 20000, UDP, 192.168.1.100 ++ 10000 - 20000, UDP
    wait editing ......
    example:
PortForward.com - Port Forwarding Echolink on the Beetel 220BX1

I dont know about "Mod mode ADSL+" will check and let you know.
    Check here. same settings.
