    BSNL Broadband doesnt work in the Evening ( 6.00pm to Next Day 8.00am)

    BSNL Broadband in our area is not working from the evening, night and till next day morning 8.00am (Chengalpattu - In Chennai Telephones)

    The reason is that when the Street Lights are ON BSNL Broadband gets disconnected. BSNL underground cable is with numerous curts & Joints is lying on the ground, open, under the street light post. Though this seems to be a very simple problem, BSNL Officials have taken more than 2 months to get it insulated and bury it under the grounds OR Change to a New Cable.

    1. I have made several complaints to 1500 - broadband complaints
    2. I have made several online complaints in BSNL Chennai telephone website
    3. I made several phone calls to the BSNL Local Complaints
    4. I made phone calls to Sub Divisional Engineer - Chengalpattu
    5. I met him directly & long back he said give me 2 days time, i will get it rectified. He also said he is planning to put a New Junction Box in the joint area ( which lies under the Street Lights) - But till now nothing has happend.
    6. I sent Mails on 31-Jan-2010 to the a). DGM Chengalpattu - b). DGM (NWO-CPT c). DGM -BBS - as per "BSNL Consumer Grievance Redressal Mechanism"

    Nothing has happened till today. And today i have again sent a mail to GM Broadband - BSNL Chennai Telephones

    I waiting to see, if something can be done. Even if this is not going to work for me i am planning to launch a complaint with TRAI saying that the Nodal Officers Contact which BSNL has given is Fake and doesn't work at all.

    Friends - what you suggest ????

    Your post is very true. I am a similar suffering customer here. I have a list of what all I have done.

    1) I have made several trips to the Customer Care office in Anna Nagar East.
    2) I have made several complaints to the customer care officals over phone.
    3) I have written dozens of emails to the online complaint weblink.
    4) I have made several phone calls to the bloody BSNL officials.

    My internet doesnt work from 4:30 PM to 5:30 AM. I am an architecture student and when I come back from my college at 5 I do not get to use the internet. What is the use of having the internet in the morning when I am away.
    The other issue is with the officials behaviour at the Customer Care office. They mistreat the customers coming with their grievances. They tried to push me out of their office by calling their watchman. I truly feel that BSNL is going to DOGS. I tried fighting against them. Trying to find justice. But I FAILED. I dont want to waste my resources trying to make them a better Service Provider. So the wise thing that I am going to do is SWITCH to other Service providers. BSNL SERVICES ARE BAD.
    I think I am going to write a signboard "BSNL SERVICES ARE BAD, I WANT JUSTICE" and stand in front of th BSNL office if they dont solve my issue..

    Did you try the ALL INDIA Online complaint web site ?
    give feedback. with complaint number.
    Since Jan 2011?
    In computer START RUN type cmd OK
    New window.
    type ipconfig /all
    Copy/paste here LAN data only.
    mention modem/model/make/number.

    I tried the All India Complaint. I have several docket numbers. I dont think they ever consider that. I have been having this issue for the past 4 weeks.

    Your ip config /all data strange.
    was expecting the lease time configuration data also.

    confirm you use PPPoE mode and userid/pw stored/entered in wan page of modem.
    If you post your present ip ( unit ( only modem can be accessed ONLINE by me). Change to Dialer mode to block your ID/PW
    Modem Id admin Pw admin confirm.

    To know the "DYNAMIC IP
    when on line and connected to the web
    What Is My IP Address? Lookup IP, Hide IP, Change IP, Trace IP and more...
    Say 117.xx.xx.xx
    This will change everytime you connect and disconnect the modem.
    post it here or send P.M ( when I am ONLINE)
    ipconfig /all
    You seem to know.
    Network settings
    In computer Stat menu Network
    Show all connections.
    Select LAN
    properties
    New window Network settings.
    Highlight TCp/IP box
    properties
    next page
    Obtain Ip address automatically
    Obtaian DNS automatically
    Apply SAVE.

    recheck ipconfig /all
