Default need help in scheduling downlads........

hi. everyone ..I need help in scheduling download from 0200 to 0800.I am on BBG FN COMBO 599 plan which has 4 gb download limit and night unlimited.

I am using a beetel 220 bxi modem and a belkin router.I want to schedule downloads on my windows 7 laptop.
My modem is connected in bridge mode and the router is configured in pppoe mode.
[ If I connect tha modem directly to my pc , i need to dial the connection using bsnl username and password
If the modem is connected to the pc through the router , then I do not need to connect and its like an always on network on my pc]

BASICALLY NOW MY QUESTION IS IF I set up macros on my laptop to open my browser , go to the router page and restart the modem , will this make a new session to start??[I can access the router page from my laptop].And after that the macro can even start my downloads.
I am not able to access my portal account somehow and I cant check from there if it will start a new session in bsnl's usage records.
    so guys please help
here is a screenshot of my router page

Which is your portal ? selfcare web sites ?

Seems most usage portals show day usage and NU separately.

    Even though not needed.
(Mine 750U/L plan )meter readings are automatically split at 02AM and 08 AM .
    Check these links. and
    FEEDback please.

I have similar plan FN combo 600. Now days I don't bother much about starting the modem after 2.00 and disconnecting before 08:00. I think BSNL is now rectified their billing meter flow and it works correctly. So I keep the PC on always with the modem connected

You should download some broadband meter like networx to keep a track of your usage.

And to schedule I do it this way -
    1. Download and install the FDM (freedownloadmanager)
    2. Click the download link in browser you should get FDM download window, select manual if you want to schedule else automatic to download immediately.
    3. Go back to FDM main window. Access it from taskbar
    4. You should see that download as red pause icon. Meaning not started
    5. Goto schedular tab -> and create two tasks one to start download and another one to stop download.

And if you are paranoid like me and want to play it little safe just in case if BSNL put the those in your billable limit (though after 2 months of playing I think they won't)... do some calculation like I have a max speed of 2Mbps i.e. 256 KBps(1024 * 2 / 8) that means I can download 15 MB (256 * 60/1024) in a minute max. Now adjust the timing in step 5 to give an interval accordingly. You probably have a lower speed I guess so do your calculation accordingly

Most of the torrent clients also have powerful schedulers -

Now a days, it seems BSNL has patched this error. Check your usage portal and search for any automatic break up during 2.00 - 8.00 am slot. Try these schedulers

    2. Auto-connect Download scheduler PC-Gyaan

    thanks everyone....
looks like I m worried too much. Its good to hear bsnl has rectified this problem.
but still to be safe I want to know
will connecting the router[pppoe mode] do the same thing as dialing a connection.?? [because as above I mentioned when connected through router does not require dialling, otherwis it does.]

I think when I am setting up macros to automate my downloads..then why not a router reboot to be safe.
