At bsnl office it shows new plan installed......

And selfcare of west region is under maintanance so daily usage not displayed...

Check with SDE. There are a lot of changes happening at BSNL end. So may this is a result of that.

Sub Divisional Engineer. Normally they handle the tech section at your exchange. He will be the right person to confirm. If possible, visit in person will work or call customer care and ask for his number.

My selfcare site is SAP NetWeaver Portal.
I had I applied for the plan change on 30 April and it became effective from 5 May. That too because my request was stuck somewhere in the queue. otherwise it takes 24-48 Hours for the plan change to be effective. And it the plan change request is implemented even in the middle of the month.
    A personal experience.

I applied for a plan change on 16-7-11 and it reflected in my portal within 10 minutes! But the guy at local BSNL office cautioned me that even if it's reflecting in my selfcare portal, I had better wait till the 1st of next month to start using it. BSNL has some twisty logic about it-the billing cycle I mean. Anyways, I won't use it till the next month. There is every chance that I might be charged as per old plan till the 1st of next month and in that case, will have to end up paying a fortune! I also advise everybody to be cautious about it.

    cheers

You could check in your selfcare portal
    Loading Portal...
Order date provisioned effective date etc.
Also the usage data count may change datewise.
Another confirmation is speed decrease or Increase
    Feedback. .

I don't see any speed changes yet. Therefore the guy at BSNL was right that despite selfcare portal saying it the plan remains unchanged till next month.

By the way, the new plan is reflected in my portal with 'availed' status. The screenshot is attached. I don't know what it means.

The new plan is showing in "current plan" field. The screenshot shows it. It means it has been activated in principle not actually. My earlier plan was Home-500 with unlimited download during night hours. I used to get the actual download speed of around 190-200 kpbs. I have now changed to BB Combo ULD-1350 which is supposed to give me the speed of 4 mbps, which in actual terms should give me the download speed of about 400 kbps. But I am only getting 190kpbs. As usual the BSNL guys are clueless about it and are not able to clarify as to whether the plan has been activated.

Please delete annexure containing personal details.
I got the point. similar to screenshot i posted.

Check tomorrow how your usage is listed.
As per old plan or U/L new plan.
Either way you are safe during NU period !!!
your usage portal may list Day usage and Night usage separately.
    confirm.

On top summary should not show increase now onwards.

    Para two:
4 Mbps speed/l: FUP limit this month 50% ( 10GB) at 4 Mbps speed. After that should reduce to 256Kbps .
About speed: You have to ask them to Change port for 4 Mbps speed.
Tell them your plan is now UL1350. GET DOCKET NUMBER ( complaint number ). need not pay rent under Ul1350 if speed not increased.
will give link to @meetdilip's post here later.
http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...tml#post324151 (4 Mbps connection, but getting only 2 Mbps)
