    Default SL2 141 port forwarding

Hello Guys, I need some help with port forwarding my BSNL Type II SL2-141 router. I have followed all possible guides and steps but without any luck.
    http://www.indiabroadband.net/bsnl-b...reference.html (Sl2-141 portforwarding quick reference.)
I have followed all the methods for port forwarding but the utorrent and other port checking sites say the port is closed, though I have a GREEN TICK in utorrent I don't know how.

Please tell me what should I do for port forwarding, Virtual Server / Port Triggering or anything else?

    Okay..
    Ethernet adapter Local Area Connection:

    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
    Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : *******
    DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
    Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
    XXXXXXXXXXXX
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.21(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
    DHCPv6 IAID . . . . . . . . . . . : 247246533

    208.67.222.222
    NetBIOS over Tcpip. . . . . . . . : Enabled
That was the ipconfig data, I have censored a bit.
    Now check this image out:

The weird thing is on my pc(192.168.1.23) and laptop(192.168.1.22) no port works on utorrent port checker EXCEPT 43435. That port works on both I don't know what to do, very confused.

In virtual server Not entered !!!
You can delete applications not used to avoid confusion.

Have you enabled DHCP in modem ?
Give range 192.168.1.21 to say 192.168.1.23 ( number of systems)
In tcp/ip try obtain IP address automatically in all systems.
Give the Ip address of two systems for each application. systems.

Delete insert screen shot , if this is not what you have entered in your modem. refer insert by me.
    If it is yours also.
Are you trying Portforward for 7 applications and multiple computers ?

    First simplify the problem
Use one system/one application one ip address
Then add more applications for single system.
    Feedback.

OKAY...Please ignore all above as it complicated matters for you and for me. I am starting from SCRATCH.
I have a computer, which has utorrent on, laptop is just like that, I was trying to test from it but let's leave that alone.
Now this is my Ipconfig data:
    Connection-specific DNS Suffix . :
    Description . . . . . . . . . . . : Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller
    Physical Address. . . . . . . . . : xx-xx-xx-xx-xx
    DHCP Enabled. . . . . . . . . . . : No
    Autoconfiguration Enabled . . . . : Yes
    Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : fe80::59e5:2e4d:bcde:5707%11(Preferred)
    IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.22(Preferred)
    Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : 255.255.255.0
    Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.1
    So the IP is 192.168.1.2
I deleted all the entries which I showed previously, made ONLY 1 entry for the .22 IP.
But still utorrent's port checker says port closed, simaltaneously showing a green tick.
This is the issue! Check the attachment for nat virtual servers.

But still utorrent's port checker says port closed, simultaneously showing a green tick.
    Check your firewall settings.
May need Utorrent settings page screen shot also.

I don't think firewall is an issue, because even after I disable it it still says port closed, also previously when I checked on my laptop, there also it was closed.
Utorrent settings well there is only one setting for port and thats the same I entered in router config.

Well this is something interesting i saw:

    But this site:
Port Checker - Torrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client
    says:
    An error has occurred!
Port 43435 does not appear to be open.

(1)Check with port checker application from portforward.com
(2)for Utorrent: recheck connections page. ( screen shot if possible) )
    http://portforward.com/english/appli...orkOptions.jpg

    (3) Check in modem/router Firewall is disabled.

    Para two:
I have sent PM to @meetdilip : may respond in the afternoon or evening.

    Please mention,

    1. Plan you are using is ____ .

    2. What is the speed you are getting on torrents ? Try a well seeded torrent and report the speed.

    3. If green tick mark is there, it means port is forwarded. Please mention how much drop in speed you are facing on utorrent.

    4. utorrent > Options > Preferences >

    a. Enable UPnP port mapping

    b. Enable NAT - PMP port mapping

    c. Add Windows Firewall exception.

    5. Disable Firewall/antivirus and check.

    6. Switch to bridge mode and check. You can revert back to PPPoE. If not confident, take the screen shot of your working PPPoE entry and save it.

    Plan - 1 - 750 Combo
Utorrent green tick mark is shown.
UPnP and NAT - PMP is used if ports cannot be forwarded, but mine can be I guess since its showing green tick so should I still enable them? Because I heard they shouldn't be turned on unless needed.
    Already in windows firewall exception.
When AV/Firewall is off, then also utorrents site: Port Checker - Torrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client says its closed, but ironically now its saying:
    OK!

Port 43435 is open and accepting connections.

You will be able to receive incoming BitTorrent connections.

So it's a peculiar situation, I think after I add ports to the virtual server page, I guess I have to wait around 15-20 minutes for utorrents site to see it.

    Still to mention,

What is the speed you are getting on well seeded torrents ? Post a screen of you torrent client.

If port 43435 is open, you can use it. If still not working, try point 4. You can always change it any time. So no fear of damage.

If nothing works, try option 6 and give feedback. In bridge mode, all ports are open by default.

Me too on UL 750. It is good speed nikunj93. If your port is not open, you will hardly get 5 KBps. What is the speed you are getting on IDM or similar ? They tend to give 60 + unlike torrents. Anything 50 + is good speed for this plan.

I know its a pretty good speed, it's just why did the site say port closed first then open now.... I am bewildered. lol!
IDM does give 60+ at times 70+ too :P But heck torrents don't budge over 62 :/

Well what I am trying to do is access utorrent's webui on my network, do you know how to do that? Like I want utorrent webui running on my pc accessed on my laptop so that I can modify upload/download speed limit, because when utorrent runs, FIREFOX doesn't load pages... it's like terribly slow, unbrowsable.

For accessing UI of utorrent from other computers, you can use softwares like Team Viewer. You can use the " Remote Desktop " feature in Windows. But it is just complicating things. Better walk to your PC and make the changes. If you are still particular about accessing your PC remotely try the above mentioned methods.

Well actually it's not for me it's for my sister. She usually browses late in the night say 1-2'ish at that time one doesn't feel like leaving his bed does he? :P Well, btw, when your downloads are on in utorrent are you able to browse?

I limit the torrents at 40 - 45 KBps so that I can browse freely. At times, I am able to browse even when the download occurs at 55 KBps.

    @Nikunj93
Since your problem, seems to have been solved, ( I don't know still, changes you made/or did not make in router ) and you are discussing other tweaks ,

Kindly post the settings for port forwarding/virtual server ( screen shot ) for SL2 _141.
( ensure picture is readable and fits the page here or, give as Annexure or give upload link )
One picture is worth 1000 words !
