Is it possible to apply for a new bsnl modem online ?
If not , please tell me any other way to apply for new modem .

no such online process exists

you have to personally go to your nearest exchange and request for a modem
BSNL does not just give it to anyone without new connection or security
are you a BSNL customer?

If you have purchased the modem earrlier , replacement within 6 months or 1 year possible FREE of cost.
If On rental basis any time !

Even assuming you can order Online, will you pay Another Rs 250/=as installation charges to BSNL ? ( plus Cha pani !!!??),as the staff will like to test it at your location.

new bsnl portal has option for upgrading broadband accessories. i havent tried it but it looks like working.

Please mention your current modem - model and make.

I have two modems (both working). One is a wifi modem and another is a non wifi modem. You can give a request at your exchange for a new modem. Talk to someone responsible and give a request. Ask them to register an order for your new modem. You can track it through your portal. Hope this help.
