Thread: My Deposit

It has been over 6 months I took out the BSNL BROADBAND BBG FN 500 .BEFORE I took out this plan I paid a lumpsum security deposit for my BSNL Land phone about Rs 1750 .Now according to the broadband plan yearly security deposit for phone is not necessary.Am I eligible to get a refund of that money I paid before I took out Broadband?

There is no yearly security deposit for Telephones.
please check here conditions for telephone connections/security deposit etc.

The amount Rs 1750/= shown ,as security deposit for telephones not clear( may be modem cost/Installation/one month's BB rent )

First a Landline Telephone connection .( BB not availed )
Then Broadband connection. ( some tariff plans exempt telephone monthly rent )
The security Deposit is for call charges/ local/std/isd etc.
( may Include , for telephone instrument if issued. )

In effect , you should get a free telephone connection, whether you have Broadband connection or not.
( other than installation charges paid)

I meant I paid the yearly rental of Rs.1750 for 2010-2011.This was not taken into consideration when registered for the broadband service
