Thread: how to configure bsnl broadband in ubuntu

hey friends firstly sorry for creating a new topic
but im really messed up
i wanna know how to configure broadband in ubuntu
i tried many tutorials on the www
but didnt worked anyone
one of my friend suggested to post me here about the problem so i posted it
please help me

1. Please mention, modem - model and make.

2. Configure your modem in PPPoE. Enable DHCP in your modem and in the TCP/IP properties of your connection (PC/laptop) set, " obtain IP address automatically.

If you just configure your modem properly in PPPoE, Ubutunu will pick up the internet access at LAN.

bro my modem is zte zxdsl 831 all
and can u please elaborate the steps
