    Default PPPoE authentication failures

    Guys I had googled a lot after which I am posting this...

    What are the possible problems ?
    1. Bill payment --> Will I get this authrization problems??

    2. LIne problems --> Though the DSL is YELLOW and all values in MODEM are fine except the authentication part is failing??

    3. Username/password --> I am damn sure this is correct. Because it was working until yesterday

    4. Possibility of problems with the authentication servers of BSNL

    Can someone give me any other alternavites

    If you are on "Dialer" "Bridged" mode
    ( userID/PW entered in Dialer window in computer)

    Change to "Always On" PPP/PPPoE mode
    (enter userid without @ bsnl.in and PW in modem wan page
    and try )

    Looks like the problem is with the BSNL authentication server.. It is
    working fine after 18 hours

    ... That was always going to be a problem for BSNL!
