Yesterday my internet suddenly stopped working.
The data light is off.
When I try to connect to bsnl, I get stuck on connecting.
My phone line is working fine, and I have a 2nd airtel connection and that works fine too through the same modem.
BSNL Home 500, D-link GLB802C modem, windows XP.
Bridged Mode.
SNR/Atten values seem fine too.
The data light appears to blink once every 15-25 seconds (it normally blinks every 2-3 seconds).
DSL param from modem config page:

When I try to connect, I get a window saying:
title:"Connecting bsnl..."
Connecting through WAN Minipo(PPOE)
and then after about 15 seconds :
"Error 678: The remote computer did not respond. For Further assistance, click more info or search help and support center for this error number."
I got the line checked a few weeks ago, and the modem should be fine since my airtel connection works without any issues.
Thanks.
