    Default BSNL IP range

    Hello folks

I've been using bad behavior 2 plugin for my wordpress blog for the last 1 year now but since the day I migrated to BSNL, I've been having problems with logging in.

Many of BSNL's dynamic IP's are listed as open proxies across the web and whenever I try to log into my admin page from that IP - I am simply thrown out by the plugin saying that I am trying to login from a banned IP.

I am not complaining about BSNL because being India's largest broadband provider many of it's IP are bound to be blacklisted at open proxies. But at the same time I am not ready to disable the Bad Behavior plugin too as it has protect my site from atleast 3 hack attempts.

So I just wanted to know if any one of you guys know the IP range of BSNL's dynamic IP pool. The plugin has a white list option where I can enter a range of IP's in the following format and they will be whitelisted.

    192.168.0.0/16 - range from 0-16
208.54.95.129 - Individual IP (useless for dynamic IP subscribers)

Can anyone help me with this problem?

Dont quote me on this but I believe that your ip address will never fall outside this pool :
    59.88.0.0 - 59.99.255.255

    Hope this helps.

I dont see your blog url in your signature...

That is because I was warned by the admin (I suppose you) not to promote my own site here on this site. So I removed my signature

BTW I'll try out the IP range and see if it works

Active members like you are very much entitled to have thier url's in thier signatures, its just that I want to keep a check on those who come in to make one post so they can leave thier back links here.

Thank you, I'll add the signature once again.

BTW the IP range works pretty fine... I was able to login without any problems. Thanks...

I am really looking fwd to a wordpress plugin "comment spam" (currently in version 0.3 beta) being developed by an Indian programmer. He faced similar problems like me due to blacklisting of dynamic IP's across RPL lists. His plugin makes away with the use of these RPL lists and uses a different method of comment moderation.
