How can I change the password which is required to connect to internet!!

go to data.bsnl.in or selfcareportal for your zone.

USER ID / PASSWORD / E-MAIL FEATURES

I tried but its not working..
my bsnl email ends with @bsnl.in

Hi,

Is it necessary to change the default password given by the BSNL? I believe no one else can use your account as it needs to be connected through the same phone line – right?

I am curious is there any chance of security risk if I keep the password same?

Yes . what you had mentioned is correct. ( same like NETONE)
Default PW : password.
2.
ANYWHERE in India ( For prepaid BB connections same USERID/PW can be used ) from ANY BSNL telephone.
same as sancharnet internet connection

However if you are using WIFI mode others within range can use your account ( if you don't use security key or MAC filter )

some users like to change to same PW which they use elsewhere.
( like email IM /facebook etc )
