    Default broadband_problem

    hi all,
    my broadband internet connection stops in the middle and then starts again.
    i have unlimited plan since last year,but the problem started just 3 days ago.

    THE PROBLEM OFTEN OCCURS WHEN I PLAY COUNTER STRIKE ONLINE.

    modem no-UT300R2U

    PLS HELP!!

    I suggest to take the modem and all the wires to the telephone exchange and ask them to check it

    Which mode do you use ? PPPoE or Bridge ? Make sure that port is forwarded for Counter Strike. If in PPPoE, try Bridge mode and check.

    Disable firewall/antivirus and check. In some cases it will work.

    hi meetdilip i dont know PPPoE and bridge.pls clarify more.i mean WHERE should i change this and how to forward that port to cs.

    modem no-UT300R2U,
    if this is new model issued by BSNL
    Under Advanced Options NAT you may see only DMZ
    ( Virtual server ?port triggering menu items will be missing )

    Bridge mode : You enter ID/PW in computer window
    enter your system port example 192.168.1.X ( x say 2 to 20)
    in DMZ zone.
    PPP/PPPoE mode ( UserID/PW stored in WAN page of modem
    same as above.
    to find Ip address

    start run type cmd Ok
    new window
    type ipconfig /all
