    Angry Why I don't get the desired Speed except from BSNL sites?? x-(

    I'm using 750 unlimited plan from BSNL broadband. I only get around 60kb/s max that too rare. But when go to motive.bsnl.co.in the download speed is 200kb/s min. Those idiots don't pick up the phone of complaint box [1504]. I don't know why this happens. It takes years to downlood things. This is the first time happening since 3 years. Please help!!

    This may help

    http://www.indiabroadband.net/broadb...onnection.html (How to: get max. speed of a connection)

    If it recent and only since a few days, it can be a problem at exchange. Wait for a few more days and check. If nothing good happens, visit your exchange and talk to the SDE.

    If nothing works, write a complaint to Nodal officer or Appellate authority. ID and phone no. on the backside of your bill. You can call them and seek help. You can also complain that they are not picking the phone.

    You can also reset the modem and configure again. In some cases, it will work.

    Please mention, modem - model and make.

    Self care software is promoted by BSNL. They give all users maximum speed possible to access the software. Better not to try it. Reports are that they will corrupt modem settings. Even bricked some modems.

    @mercuryman24

    Check your speed here and post the link, or type the speeds
    EXACTLY as seen in the picture. Check twice.
