Please quote your real problem. As mentioned above, try speedtest.net for checking speed. You can try various servers to get a real idea. If you can state why you need these values we may able to help further. Though speedtest.net is good, to get a better idea about your speed, you may try a download from Microsoft and check. They have the best of the servers and gives a real idea of your download speed.

speedtest.net also seems not a accurate speed giving web site,because in a 750 unlimited broadband plan this website sometime shows speed 1.5 and above and in this plan speed limit is 512 kbps.and one more thing is there, wen i check speed from different servers i get different speed.in this case how would i know the correct server.

Try "dataone.in" and choose ADSL Speed tester.!

dataone.in is one of the worst speed checking facility available on public. Never depend on those values.
