Default link lost every 10 mins

    hi friends
i am new to the forums.
i am having a problem for the last 1 month with my internet connection. my internet disconnects every 5-10 mins for the next 3 mins. then after the 3 mins have passed, it connects again.
i have 500 combo tarrif plan. the internet goes in the night when it is unlimited free. and only comes in the morning when its not free. looks like a scam.
its not a problem of my operating system
the link led in my modem goes off. i have changed 2 modems but the problem still remains.
one funny and strange thing is that this problem occurs at night after 6pm to 9am daily. and also on holidays.
internet works perfectly in the day.
the isp doesnt know about the problem. they dont reply either.
snr is more than 30db. everything is fine on my side.
    the wiring is new also.
its like a timer, 10 mins on and 3 mins off. then 10 mins on then 3 mins off. its still happening.
    please help!!

I had the same plan and the same problem too. I had to struggle with the BSNL folks. My SNR was very low and there was a problem with the line.
I would suggest to monitor the SNR again.

Did you talk to the local customer service center?
In my case, I took trouble to go to the CSC a couple times as online complaints and phone followup did not make enough impact. I am glad that it is finally fixed.

    @iammak
    mention modem/router model/make number.
Check Lease time selected in WAN page.
snr is more than 30db. everything is fine on my side.
    the wiring is new also
    .
Post as annexure screen shot Jpg your: ADSL page of modem
showing snr atttn mod mode selected etc.
    or connection status.

    Copy/Pastedata here ipconfig /all.

Question : What is the total area of India ?
if it is snow in Himachal Pradesh, it is rains in Kerala!!!
You should give your location here. the problem could be a localised one.

One user reported that ,when Street lights were switched on, he lost BB. connection.!! All electrical/telephone wires tangled !!!

my friends have as low as 18db too and they have no problem.
    if
    connected to same exchange ??
    same ISP ?
    same modem/router?
same OS? ( appears you use Linux )
I can suggest any tweaks if required , only for Windows OS

swap your modem/router with your friend for A DAY/night and test.

i have swapped many modems. my own 2 modems and 3 other modems of my friends. but the problem is same with every modem. looks like its not the problem of modem.

its the same exchange and same isp.
not a problem with os. the modem has a LINK/DSL light. if it is on then the connection is on. if its off then the connection is down.
