Thread: The speed ....of internet conncetion

I have this plan BBG-1000-ULD-COMBO-MONTHLY {2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 15 GB } Is my speed in accordance with my plan, lately i feel my internet connection is being very slow. Whats ur suggestion

Note: I'm still under 15GB

Try with another server and check the speed. Speedtest.net is not that reliable. Download any file from Microsoft and check the speed. Try this guide

Using DAP i got a speed of only 20-30KB/s

You need to talk to someone responsible at your exchange. Speed you are getting is very slow. Post your SNR and Attenuation values.

Speedtest.net is the best among speed testing sites. But if you try different server or even same server, it may give different results. Downloading from Microsoft is the best way to check your speed.

i'm using teracom type 2 modem with wifi.

1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

2. ID and password is admin.

3. Check the landing page for SNR and Attenuation values.

Your line condition is good. There is nothing we can do outside BSNL. You need to find an appropriate person at BSNL and ask him to remove the speed cap.
