    Default Has bsnl slashed prices by 75%

    There is news around that bsnl is reducing tarrifs by 75%
    is this true?

    Yes, but that is not plan charges. It is the rate of extra usage per MB. Earlier it was 60 paise per MB. Now it has come down to 10 - 20 paise per extra MB.

    is it in existence or still in plans, i'm waiting for that as my feb usage is very very very huge under 500 plan

    There is no official links available at BSNL site stating its effective date. But they have updated the tariff page with these changes. Hope it will be effective from Feb 1st. The best person to confirm is the Accounts Officer. There was another thread on same issue. Someone claimed that is effective in January bill too. But as of now there is no data to confirm.

    yup it was activated from january itself

    here in andhra vijayawada 0.20 rs per mb is activated for 500c from feb billing in my case

    see this. If Not available for NEW users the tariff plans are applicable to old users earlier to 1st FEB or from 1st Feb2011

    So @20 paise/1 MB charges for excess data usage.

    The problem is websites do not specify circular numbers and A.O
    decide on old circulars received by them.
    Even details/offers given in Advts not accepted by some A.O's.
