Thread: Rapidshare Problem

I got a premium rapid share account and even hotfile too. I get resume support from rapidshare and hotfile but i m not getting the full speed. i get my original speed i.e 60-70kbps(i have 512 kbps ult plan). Someone said we need to connect our pc direct to the gateway. any help will be appreciated

U have a 512kbps ULT plan. 512kbps = 512Kilobits/sec = 64Kilobytes/sec

Thats the speed you are getting. U cannot expect to have more speed than that.

I have Rapidshare premium account also, and I have 2Mbps plan. So I get speeds of around 240Kilobytes/sec

Having a rapidshare account, doesn't mean you will get more speed than what your present plan supports.

True, me too on UL 750. Whatever you do, you won't get anything more than 64 KBps.

try using idm for downloads

Dude it all starts with ISP.Rapidshare maybe sending me data at 40000 GBPS,but BSNL won't let me get anything more than 60kbps and who said 64.EXACT 60 OR LESS.

Anyways you are saving 63 sec waiting time.
