    Unhappy Plan changed to wrong one....Please help!!

    I applied to change my plan from BBG FN COMBO 600 to BBG COMBO ULD 850 by written application in the exchange. My plan was changed on 1st March 2011 in the evening. But they have changed the plan to BBG COMBO 850 (without ULD). Its not unlimited and all my usage is getting counted. I called 1500 but they say to call SDE but he is not picking up the phone. What shall i do now.

    Please help

    I think both are same. BBG Combo ULD 850 gives 1 Mbps upto 8 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 8 GB. Can you please give the link to BBG Combo 850 (from here : Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.)

    Which portal do you use ? Check the usage " Chargeable units excluding night unlimited ". If your plan is unlimited, it will show usage as zero. Check and confirm.

    If nothing works, complain to Nodal officer and /or Appellate authority. ID and phone no on the backside of your bill.

    Thanks for a quick reply. I've checked the usage "Sum Traffic Excluding Night Unlimited(GB)" is the same as "Total Volume(GB)" so its not unlimited. The sum traffic should be zero if it was an unlimited plan.

    Strange. Are you sure that the your plan is changed. Check for " provisioned " in orders page. Also does the portal display usage details in March. If possible visit the exchange and try to meet SDE. There is nothing we could do from here. As I mentioned above, you can try Nodal officer and appellate authority. Call them and seek help. You can tell them the strange way SDE is behaving.

    What is the speed you are getting ?

    The portal is displaying the March usage in the name of new plan BBG COMBO 850 but i've applied for BBG COMBO ULD 850. I think there's an old plan of this 850 with 10 GB limit.

    Speed i am getting is 1Mbps.

    Is there any call center number for only broadband problems?

    Please mention your location. Somebody from your area can give you the number.

    If possible, visit the exchange. Nothing works better than an in person visit. Or call customer can and ask for the concerned person's no.

    I found it here (sorry i cant post url). Its down the page of BB plans in bsnl website (the link you gave above)

    OLD BB PLANS FOR WHICH NO FRESH REGISTRATION W.E.F. 01.02.2011

    Its an old BB plan for which no fresh registration is allowed from 1-2-2011. And they registered my plan to this one.

    You can post the link as hxxp://domain.com, instead of http://domain.com.

    Checked the page. Take a print out of the same and contact the Admin department of your exchange. As I quoted above try other options if they are not attending / co operating with your issue.

    I went to the exchange today. The guy there said that my plan is unlimited as per their system. He showed me on his screen also. It was 850 ULD there. But on my portal its not ULD and the usage is being recorded.

    I think the only way to check is to download 8 gb and check if the speed is 256 Kbps or 1Mbps.

    Take print out of your usage details and keep it safe. If the chargeable units excluding night unlimited is not zero, you are surely at the risk of a huge bill. Call Accounts Officer and talk to him.
