Thread: pls help , i was billed 14,000 rs for 140 mb excess(under 500c plan with 1.5 gb free)

guys pls help me mine is 500c plan with night unlimited and 1.5gb free .... for feb i used 1.64 gb (140 mb excess than free 1.5 gb) ... today i got sms saying i got 14,000 /- as my bill ....

i thouhjt of going to bsnl office which just 1 street away , but i first posting my prob here fearing that bsnl ppl may manipulate any usage if i complain .....


pls help me ASAP and sugest what to do

the duplicate bill will be out after 10th
check it online or check with the AOTR

your free allowance 1.5 GB will be deducted from 1.64 GB=.14GB
approx 140MB @ 20paise /MB=2800paise divided by 100= Rs 28/=will be charged for BB usage.
Even assuming Full 1.64GB at say Re 1/MB will amount to Rs approx Rs 1700/= only.
If you have downloaded about 140GB during NU bill for Rs 14,000/= is in error.verify the amount.

If you have the facility to check ONLine Telephone Bill,
Check the details.

Thanks essbebe and suvo for ur replies ... i went to the bsnl office at 4 pm today ... i think he is JE with whom i talked to ... he verified in their PC and said that i was billed 14,086 as per sms .... but he seemed to be a kind guy , he checked all the details and called some1 at main bsnl in the city .... he dictated me a letter adressing to SDE Telephones , describing that there is BILL DISCREPENCY in the usage and billed amount .....


I mean who are they kidding .... 14ooo rs for internet , that too which i havent used out of the prescribed free usage


I really hope this process shud be enough to get me a revised bill of 422rs + tax ....


and yes he said that 0.20 rs per mb is applicable from 1st march
