Question svchost.exe trying to connect NIB Delhi

I installed a new version of my antivirus 3 days ago.It has a firewall. Now Im kond of paranoid about security. So I set my firewall mode to " HIGHLY RISKY".
Since I did that whenever I connceted to internet Antivirus shows a connection was blocked to a certain IP. When traced it I found out it was a connection to NIB New Delhi. Now why is my Windows is trying to connect to NIB.???
    (I use BSNL.)

Should I let it connect?? Explaination??? anyone??

Allow and see what happens !
BSNL Broadband connection is via NIB Delhi or Bengaluru.

Which firewall do you use ? NIB is shown when you trace the users with wireless connection. Some of them show the SSA. svchost is a system file. If you block it, you may not be able to connect to internet. Install Bitmeter and keep an eye on your background downloads. Bitmeter will show if there is any background at the speed at which they are downloading.

I use avast firewall it blocks everything except what i want(eg-my browser) ,it even asks me when a incoming connection is being made. With blocking svchost.exe my internet is absolutely OK.

What I want to know is why Windows is trying to connect to my ISP.If it was connecting to microsoft it was OK coz I know he's trying to get some updates or something but why NIB??

Post the IP address of the BSNL NIB you want to block

Check in Task Manager ( Processes) how many svchost.exe are appearing in the list.

I think that is DNS values for BSNL. Change your DNS to Open DNS (208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220) or Google DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4). Feedback.
