Thread: How to migrate to BSNL Broadband new Infrastructure

I am from Dehradun and I got my BSNL Broadband connection in 2006 when it was launched. Currently my broadband connection is registered under NIB with the IP Address of series 59.x.x.x. Now I want to move to their new infrastructure with the IP series 117.x.x.x because I have seen the users on that IP are getting much better speeds. How can I do that ?

Change from NIB - I to NIB - II is not addressed by customer request. It is BSNL's discretion that which server customers use. A few users reported that plan change has caused them migrate to NIB - II. But not certain that everybody who apply for plan change will be shifted to NIB -II. You can request personally to the SDE of your exchange and get it done.

What is your tariff plan now ?
Sometimes , when tariff plan is changed , both NIB and UserID changed to @ bsnl.in instead of @dataone.in

Apply for a new connection. Check the speed etc for a month , and then change to tariff plan of your choice.

Surrender first connection's Broadband only. and apply afresh.

( Not change of Tariff plan )Till March31st Unlimited/d/l at 2 Mbps for first 15 days.

I disconnected for 6 months and when I applied again I got 117.xx.xx.xx and @ bsnl.in.
Speed is better with IP 117.xx.xx.xx is only a mirage !
