Thread: Is this speed less or normal in BSNL BBG ULD 1350 Plan?

i did get around 200kbps constantly while downloading through torrent.

moreover here is speed test conducted on speedtest.net

now tell me is this speed less or normal?

acc. to the plan the speed is 4mbps till 20gb and then 512kbps after that.

Presume you meant 200 KBps not Kbps. Yes, it is low. It happened to a lot of users. Call the exchange and ask them to lift the speed cap on your connection. Worked for many.

You can try some methods to optimize your speed. But it won't give you anything above 4 Mbps. And to be frank, 4 Mbps on BSNL network is a bit difficult to achieve. You will get that speed if your line condition is good.

sorry yes i meant 200KBps. i dont know the difference much but you preassumed it i the right way!

and i guess my problem is this.. :

Line Rate - Upstream (Kbps): 507
Line Rate - Downstream (Kbps):2042

You cannot change it yourself, ask the exchange or customer care guys to do it.

Your downstream rate has to increase for you to get 4mbps speeds
