    Default VMC type-1 configuration.

    Hey guys, im using VMC type 1 modem. Our exchange JTO configured my modem to "always on".

    I want to re-configure it to manually connect, just like dial up modem where i can insert my user id and password and then connect to internet.

    Please helpme..!!

    1. Type 192.168.1.1 in your browser.

    2. ID and password is admin.

    3. One the landing page, you will find an LHS menu.

    4. Select " Internet configuration " or similar.

    5. Check for 0_32 entry. Click " Edit ".

    6. Browse through the pages, you will find an option to choose from Bridge and PPPoE.

    If not working, post the screen shot of page at point no. 3.

    For BSNL 0_35 will be showing PPPoE click EDIT

    page
    Uncheck PPPoE and selct "BRIDGED"
    Save Reboot.

    Presume you have created a PPPoE dialer.
    For similar steps in Windows 7.
