can u tell me
1.What is the maximum distance from exchange which is feasible for broadband to get 4mbps speed...? In Kilo Meters pls...
2.What is the distance which is feasible to get internet access in any speed?
3.Does the distance between the exchange and my house cause bad SNR?
4.Or is SNR only relates with the line quality. like corrosion in cable, joints, etc?
I am getting Attentuation downstream : around 58dB.. Not more than that.
and
SNR downstream: 6.55dB, 2.10dB, 0.70dB, -51.00dB, etc like that.
and the problem I am getting is frequent disconnection, disconnects when trying heavy traffic websites like IRCTC(while booking TATKAL tickets), and sometimes it even goes to the min speed of 32kbps(Yes I mean kbps not KBps).
5.AND My question is Can it be rectified by changing the telehone cables or solving any cable fault from exchange to my house?
Your answer will be helpful to me... Thank U...
Extra: When I complain them, they come and rectify the problem. then i'll get good speed around 2.2mbps out of 4mbps for one or two days without any disconnections or once a day. But after 2 or more days It goes back to frequent disconnections. That's why I asked whether I could be rectified if the line becomes good..
