    Default A urgent help needed

    Hi i am mani I am getting a strange problem from bsnl modem that is when i use five meters LAN cable i am unable to internet access, but with one meter cable i am able to access internet.
    I need an urgent help needed

    five meters LAN cable(presume rj45 with 8 leads ) . Probably Faulty connectors. rusting of contacts.black contacts check

    my modem is dna-a211-i,
    Try all the LAN ports Lan1 /LAN2/LAN3/LAN4.

    How? did you use a meter for continuity of the cables ?.

    no essbebe i did not use cable tester but i tried to purchase the cable tester its out of stock

    Just replace the cable!!

    If u can't do that call down BSNL!!!

    Option 1 :.
    You can buy a new cable !
    Option 2 :
    Get new connectors crimped to the cable
    usually not available in electrical shops.
