The theory is if you were sitting in USA next to this and before that and downloading a movie that hasn't yet released-You would need this. And about 'problems' the only arrest I've seen to be happening are (In India) some uploaders from hydrabad.

Even I never had any issues Do u get hash fails while downloading new
    trendy stuffs?

I am an average downloader. Downloads only some famous /recent English movies. Otherwise settle for Indian content. Never seen high hash falls. I think the highest one was 2.2 MB. But one of them was 12 MB.

There's the prob the hash fails are caused by torrent pollution by anti p2p agencies.New movies are the biggest target. For new movies I never use TPB.I'd rather use alternates like in denoid(safer not fullproof) or Rapidshare secure SSL connection.

Got it. So this Peer block will reduce/nullify the hash fall while downloading such movies. Nice to know that we don't have this issue. Also since some one click hosting sites are offering " resume " function, I have started to use direct links.

You can select type of lists to block, avoid lists that are too careful and use only anti p2p lists.

From where do you get these lists ? Is it another app or we can add the list in utorrent (using utorrent 2.2).

You can always get ipfilter for utorrent from

    http://www.bluetack.co.uk/config/nipfilter.dat.gz

You install peerblock You can update and add lists from there.

    So you know..

Completely useless software UNLESS you are in a country like the US or a EU nation where companies actually give more than 2 <expletive> about piracy.

I guess peerblock could potentially lower consumption by eliminating a little bit of unnecessary traffic; but then again doesn't everyone use night unlimited for torrents anyway ?
