Default Sudden drop in Torrent's Downloading speed

Till 2 days ago my torrent downloading was working just fine, downloading speed was around 190kBps generally. But from yesterday downloading speed is not going above 20-25kBps..I've tried to change utorrent's settings and download various torrents with tons of seeds, but the speed is not going above that..
Some torrents are not even starting the download, even though they have sufficient amount of seeds.
I think BSNL has blocked the torrents,,so if some one is having similar kind of problem, please reply and also if someone have solution to this problem.
Also any of my torrent is not picking up more then 7-8 seed, even when some have 100's of active seeds.
On a side note,my internet speed is fine,IDM is downloading at its usual speed.

What speed are you getting on direct downloads ? Are you getting full speed in it ?

Reinstall the client and check. Have accidentally set a download speed limit ? Check the " Transfer Cap " tab in preferences. Also check the screen shot

If BSNL starts to block torrents the conn. termination rate will go sky high and they will go bankrupt.Lots of people take internet just for downloading.

There's some prob with ur client.
1-As meetdilip said check the cap,

2-Have you pulled on a uploading cap??(this makes the tracking priority low)

3-Are you having hash fails?? (less is better zero is best)

4-Try a torrent with high seed or try something else.
(If the torrent is a 'just upped' then share ratio will be low even with high speeds)

Response so that I can pull out more??

I've tried that already, everything that u pointed out, still no effect..Now the speed is not even crossing 15kBps mark.
Also I've tried various torrents with different seed levels,it's all the same, not even one is picking up the speed.I've tried re-installing utorrent, default the settings, and some other things i could think of,nothing seems to be working for this problem.

My direct downloads are on full speed, there's nothing wrong with anything else,it's just the torrent downloading problem.
And also,I've tried that already that you have suggested. There's no spike in the speed. It's still stuck between15-20kBps.

    1. Which firewall do you use ? Did you check the " Exceptions " ? Disable your firewall and antivirus. Check again.

    2. Check whether the port is forwarded.

    3. In preferences > Connection, Enable UPnP port mapping , Enable NAT - PMP port mapping.

    4. Uninstall using Revo Uninstaller and install a stable version (2.2).

    5. Try an upload to a file hosting site. Check if it is working properly.

    6. If possible, as a last resort, try another modem and check.

    Change the default port.
    Disable Windows Firewall
    Turn on Encryption
Add extra trackers (I can give u the full tracker list I can even get u in some private ones list but Admin might get angry
Are you getting heavy wasted data?
    Which version are you using.

Changed the default port many times.
Windows Firewall already disabled, and I've been using Sunbelt firewall for some time and it have never given any kind of trouble before but still i'll check out by disabling it.
    Already turned on the encryption.
I've also tried to add trackers but no effect on the downloading speed.
Also not getting heavy waste data or large number of hash fails.
I'm using version 2.2 and also re-installed it many times.

I've tried all possible solutions i could think of and what you guys suggested but there is no effect. That's why i think that it's not an internal system problem and BSNL has blocked out the torrent downloading because as i said earlier everything else is working just fine, there is not loss in my surfing and normal downloading or uploading speed.

    Set protocol encryption to forced
and install peerblock enable level 3 list
    Use another client like Vuze

    Which city are u from??
Are others in ur neighborhood reporting this error?

It hasn't been reported yet (by majority)...

    1. Tried uninstalling using Revo Uninstaller ? It gives a clean uninstallation.

    2. Which antivirus do you use ? Disable it also and try.

    3. If it happened only 2 days ago, try a system restore and check.
