What is the speed you get on other wifi devices (eg. laptop) ? Check the speed in your desktop using ethernet cable. Download any file from Microsoft and check the speed. Post the screen shot.

Check speed here ( twice and different dates.)
My Broadband Speed - Broadband Speed Tester
if possible print out the graph,. to show BSNL CC.
Ask broadband Section of your Exchange to change the port.
    2.
In modem ensure ADSL2+ mod mode is selected.
Check sync rate and rate in STATSTICS ADSL menu.

    getting 500+KB/s on laptop and
    30-40 KB/s on C3

A friend at other forum told me that it is the problem of C3 itself.

There is nothing wrong in your modem or wifi settings.

Take your mobile to nearest dealer / service shop. They will be the right people to check the settings of your modem.

Mention your modem - model and make

Hope your modem is Type II wifi modem from BSNL

    To do :

    1. Configure your modem in PPPoE.

    2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

    3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection (both laptop and desktop), set " Obtain IP address automatically ".

    Try and feedback

Your connections must be same as shown in this diagram. Compare and make changes if any.

Teracom Type-II ADSL MODEM MULTIUSER CONFIGURATION

Once you configure it in PPPoE, go to the wireless page and enable WiFi. Don't give password to the connection. Check whether your laptop is detecting the connection.

    Channel 11 is already selected.

Where to check max power output ?

There are all 4 bars in Nokia C3.
This time I have tried connecting the wifi to another laptop, same here as well

I am experiencing very slow internet speed on Nokia C3.

    Suggestions :
    1.check this link.
    https://docs.google.com/present/view...njx_14fhxf7xcf
    comfirm MAC white filter disabled.
seems no power output option in this model.
    2.
In second laptop ( also c3)
Download tcp/ip optimizer from SpeedGuide.net :: The Broadband Guide.
    try optimal values.
    3
. If OS is windows 7 try application "connectify" by passing
    Bsnl wifi router.

    1) MAC filtering is already disabled.

    2) I've already optimized internet connection with tcp/ip optimizer.

Check this laptop(2) in LAN mode. and report speed.

Post as attachment screenshot ( jpg) of page showing Modem Deviceinfo/Statistics/ADSL etc.snr attn d/l/ u/l etc..

You claim in one laptop speed is perfect in WIFI mode. 500KB/sec
Another laptop and Nokia phone drastically reduced. 50KB/sec
As both cannot be faulty , you have to test with a different wifi router.

Get one from a friend and check.

All you have to do is to change the ID and password.
