Home 500 C is not discontinued, it Home 500 (not combo) that has been withdrawn. But the users of Home 500 can use it without any problem. Only new registrations are barred.

Check the orders page in your portal and check which plan you are using. If possible, post a screen shot after blackening personal details.

BBG Combo ULD 850 has no night unlimited. It gives 1 Mbps upto 8 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 8 GB. After the FUP of 8 GB, your speed will be mere 256 Kbps. Not recommended unless your day time usage for a month will be less than 8 GB.

You can check and confirm here

    yup...I agree with Dilip,

You will not enjoy 256Kbps speed after seeing 1Mbps speed.
Better go with UL 750 with constant speed of 512Kbps.

Yes, it is an unlimited plan. What makes you upset ? If you can give details like bandwidth required per month, your budget etc, we can help you identify a good plan that suite your needs.

    This may help

By bandwidth, I meant how many GB of data do you need per month. For example, I use about 30 -40GB per month.

And you need a unlimited plan ?

There are no unlimited plans which will give you 1 - 2 Mbps and 30 GB bandwidth under Rs. 1,000.

The closest one is BBG Combo ULD 1000. It gives 2 Mbps upto 15 GB, 256 Kbps beyond 15 GB. This will meet your needs like speed, bandwidth and unlimited.

Or choose UL 750 which is 512 Kbps unlimited without any FUP. All other plans dips speed to 256 Kbps after FUP.

What is the purpose of the plan ? I mean what use will you put it to you. Presume you don't need heavy downloads as you are still having 500 Combo.

Same here. Me too on UL 750 and have good ratio on private trackers. It is the best plan if you are planning to seed some files. I at times get 40 KBps upload speed while seeding multiple torrents.

So I think it better if i go with 750 plan b'coz i dont require any free call, is the modems provided by bsnl currently are gud ? , I have S4U+ v1.0 and its really good. I am thinking to purchase Linkysis modem.

please suggest a good modem budget 5000/-

Yes, I have myself done a lot of research on this before choosing UL 750. It is the best plan for seeding. And the speed is also ok. Since there are no 1 Mbps or 2 Mbps unlimited plan affordable, it is wise to choose either UL 750 or ULD 1350. If you do not need free calls, you can choose UL 750 combo.

BSNL modems are good. It is good to get one from BSNL. Otherwise, if any problem occurs (may be a line problem), they will blame the 3 rd party modem and do not attend the issue.

I am using AR800V v3.0 wifi modem. Now about 8 months. No issue. But I don't think you have a choice. They will give you whichever modem in stock. But others like Teracom and similar are also good.

Speed has been changed of uld 850 plan
2mbps upto 8 gb and after 512 kbps.
you will not get the bill of this plan more than 850 so this is the best plan for heavy downloaders

BB Home Combo ULD 900 is the best plan. You get 4 mbps upto 8 Gb and 512 kbps afterwards..
