    Default Problem in IE 8

    Sir,

I am using IE 8 since two year and i preferred this only.

Till 19.03.2011 it was working fine but starts giving trouble since last two days.

I am using site perfios.com for my assets. last log in was 19.03.2011.

Yesterday i tried to log in from it's home page ......afte pressing log in tab only half page appears up to user name and PW. (Screen shot attached as perfios .1)

Where as with google chrome and firefox i am comfortable able to log in. (screen shots attached as perfios.2 )

I had run CC cleaner latest version twice, completely power off my machine thrice but still the same problem appears.

In IE8 the said page display yellow triangle at left bottom corner with message done but error on this page. The message appears after pressing the yellow triangle is attached as a screen shot perfios.3

The same problem i am facing since 25.03.2011 and not able to log in to the site.

How ever i did my work through chrome and fire fox. But these are not my proffered browsers and i would like to such type of asset and financial activities through IE 8 only.

Mail to support services of prefios but no response received.

Wow to get rid of the said problem.

Please also suggest that which OS is stable.....
Win Xp SP3 or Vista or Win 7

at present i am using Win XP SP3 ....... and wanted to change.......
Which OS should I install ................

    1. Control panel > Internet options > Clear Cache/history and check.

    2. Open IE > safety > use In Private Browsing and check.

    3. Reinstall IE and check.

I am using both XP and Windows 7 on my PC. Like both. Vista is outdated, better not to choose it. I have some programs which run only in XP. So I am sticking to it at the moment.

    Check and Confirm

    1. You are using IE8 ? To check, open IE, follow the screen shots

    2. Post a screen shot of " control panel ". Also select " add /remove programs " and post the screen shot.

To uninstall IE, take add/remove programs, you will find an option like " add /remove Windows components. Select IE from the list and uninstall it. You will need IE set up to re install it. Download it first.

You have not commented on my above posted total o4 (Four) screen shots.

IE 8 which i have has 32 MB where as your link has 18 MB.

What to do ? Which is better ? 32 or 18 MB

    I am confused

    Ya, screen shots are fine.

Use the set up you downloaded from Filehippo. Install it and check if there is any change.

Use the 18 MB file to install (the one you downloaded from Filehippo)

After installation, check whether the site you mentioned is loading properly.
