Thread: Link on but no access

i have a dataone 500c connection with
adsl router : Compex MRL21E

all the settings in the modem are correct (probably), but the problem is though the connection is established with all the LEDs on, i am not able to access the internet...

however, when i alter the username in the router to cause "authentication failure", and then try with a dial-up connection made separately windows with the same correct username and password,, it connects...

i need the router to connect to internet automatically without using the dial-up connection... pls help..

If you can connect in "bridged" mode

Select link 0_35 EDIT select PPP/PPPoE next
enter userid ( without @ bsnl.in ) PW etc.

menu pages appear similar to Beetel 220BX/utstar300r2u etc

confirm Belkins model number. is it 3G usb modem ?
