Hi guys, I recently purchased Wifi modem (Type 2) from BSNL. It is working well with my laptop & Nokia 5800.
However, I can't connect Wifi on my Apple iPod Touch. Pls advice.
Check the wifi channel used. Try Channel 6 or Channel 11.
Does the SSID appear in Ipod touch ?
Mention wifi router type II model/make/number.
If OS is windows 7 confirm.Check "connectify" application.
The router is purchased from BSNL. Type WiFi-TA, Make VMC, model no. AN1020-21, ADSL2+ CPE/IAD.
Modem is configured to Channel 11.
My laptop is using Windows Vista OS.
The ipod detects the SSID but when I enter the key, it gives a message "Cannot connect to BSNL_AP".
Pls help.
Enable DHCP ( In lan page of modem/router usually)
give a range say 192.168.1.3 to 192.1.10
Enable UpnP .
Ensure MAC list is DISABLED.
feedback.
try without any security key.
Which key you use WEP?
