Default BSNL Broadband disconnects and speed problem

Previously when i asked for help for the disconnection,a couple of members help. Thanks to them.
But recently i have faced the same problem i.e. link goes off in 3 or 4 minutes interval (DSL light blinks). After this when it came back,My download speed is almost 1/3rd(60kBps instead of 190kBps in utorrent).I have called the BSNL guys, they have checked the line, then give me an alternate modem but still the same problem. Can anyone help?

DSL light blinks due to bad line.

Check if you are hearing noise in your telephone. If yes ask the line man to check or do the needful.
Check the splitter and the ethernet cable. If you have a spare or can get one from a friend check with those.

    If these are clear please
Post your SNR and attenuation value.

You can find it under DSL router menu(go to http://192.168.1.1/ )
    User ID pass both Admin
Under ADSL tab you will find those

Today i called the exchange.....they forwarded me to the JTO.When i say that i have opened 192.168.1.1 in my browser he started to tell me that i shouldnt done that,it may damage the modem etc. I can't argue with him that it is not the case.

Tell him that you prefer not to open it and request him to send someone from exchange to attend the issue.

I called my lineman,he came and checks the wire connection. In the time 7pm,i get download speed at utorrent 158 kbps, and the connection works fine.No disconnection for 1 hr while i browse.
But the problem starts this morning when i start downloading through torrent.I get max download speed of 80kbps and DSL blinks after every 5 or 6 mins.
I checked the SNR margin and attenuation value. It is in the picture.
And when i get the speed of 158kbps these values were nearly same.

You have got a very bad SNR, ask the lineman to recheck and to give you a clean connection without any joints and stuff. He isn't good at his job.

    Low SNR might be variable
Or your line might have some problem somewhere(think of it as a loose connection), feed is coming sometime in normal speed in low speed or isn't coming at all...

Ask your lineman to check it again...
Or you might use somebody else's modem and check or eitherway if you have a extra splitter use it and check...

Most probably its the line problem.

1.Back up present modem settings to say C:/My Documents/router working.
    2.
seems some improvement and Sync rate/rate vastly improved.
    3
Which tariff plan you use ? What is the max speed allowed ?
    4.
    Check your speed here (twice)

You can also try to disable adsl2. and reboot.
    GDMT may be selected.
    Recheck speed. snr/attn etc.

    Default Page cannot be displayed

Hi Guys from past 2 weeks i am facing problem with my BSNL BB plan 500c (2am-8am) unlimited download

I have connected 2 Desktop and 1 laptop to the Modem /Router ADSL provided by BSNL which has 4 LAN ports and 1 USB port :- Desktop1 is connected to LAN 1 , 2 is Connected to LAN 2 and LAPTOP is connected to LAN 4 port no connection on LAN 3

I have made setting to connected internet directly whenever the power is switched on the Internet gets connected and can be accessed on all machines

The problem is when ever i am surfing I often get this message "Page cant be Displayed" but there is no problem when i am downloading.

I submitted a complaint through BSNL portl about the problem today Morning at 8:00, at 10:00 am around the Local Exchange JTO of BSNL called me and said that they is some problem with their MAIN SERVER and due to which i am facing slow speed and it will rectified by Monday. If its not resolved then he has asked to call him directly

Anyways I request you guys to help me

I am attaching a screen of my modem settings with SNR details please help to get rid of this issue

    Suggestions are always welcome

    Thanks In Advance

    Regard's

Your SNR is a bit low. Wait for a day or two (as mentioned by BSNL people) and if still no go, ask the line man to give a clean line (no joints, no non insulated parts, oxidised parts etc).

    @ogmixer
RESET the modem to factory defaults.
Try in "dialer" with USERID /PW again.
    If still not connected,
    check this website for settings.
The little I know about Dataone Broadband Services offered by BSNL
