Default need help to resolve problem setting up vonage voip using dataone

    hey everyone .....

i m trying to setup vonage voip device brought from U.S

the device model is motorola vt2142

i went thru the manual and did all the things mentioned in the right order ..

when i take my phone receiver after doing the connections.. i get the recorded message ...

"your telephone line is not provisioned for use . please use another line "..

after connecting the device .. my broadband dataone is also not accessible .. the connection can sent some 70 packets but it receives 0 packets ..

i m using dataone home 500 plan with huawei quidway wa1003a series

the device has been tested and used in U.S .... so there may not be a problem with the device ..

i ve tried it with two different computers .. the same problem persists..

what could be the exact problem ? .. please help ..

i am using sunrocket gizmo with almost no problem..(ometime it tkes too long
to get sync. ) you need not to change too much setting for this..be sure that your device is in network (see the Internet connectivity by knowing its IP from DHCP server and ping the IP or ping from device ..my device having ping option for troubleshooting ) and the initialization is perming..see the VOIP status led..

Smile trouble connecting vonage with BSNL solution here

reset the bsnl modem by pressing a button in the rear which is small or enter to BSNL modem Page by 192.168.1.1 type this address in the IE
    username: admin
    password: admin
    reset the modem to default
after you have reset with browser remember to save the settings

move on to the vonage router this for motorola
    192.168.15.1
type this address in the IE
    username: router
    Password : router

go to wan: and then in the field select PPPOE
type you username and password given by BSNL in the feild and save
now the phone led should glow

call me if you have any questions
