IP Filter & MAC filter setup in Huawei MT841

Rep Power: 3  |  IP Filter & MAC filter setup in Huawei MT841 Can anybody explain the process of setting up these filters ? I need to limit the users on my computer network according to time and weekday. The form for IP filter is too complex to understand. I am not getting the Source IP & Destination IP setting... Thanks |

Rep Power: 5 | i think all you need to do is type ipconfig in the terminal adn note down your MAC address .. of the of xx:xx:xx:xx .. then enter the same in the filter option in huwei |

Rep Power: 2 | @ adibob2005 It is advisable that you first understand what are the Source IP addresses, Destination IP addresses and Ports before you play with your IP filter settings in your modem. From what I understand from your requirement, if you only need to restrict internet access in a particular timespan, you already have the option in in your Filter section. rgds, Manoj Kuruvanthody Quote:
