    Default BSNL is counting my night usage in bill for BBG-FN-HOME-500-MONTHLY plan

    I have changed my broadband plan from Home-250 to BBG-FN-HOME-500-MONTHLY in which night usage 2-8 is free.

    Now when the bill is arrived all my night usage is charged and I got a bill of Rs. 2500 which should be originally Rs. 750.

    I also checked my usage on BSNL broadband usage portal its showig correctly.

    But when i see the usage on BSNL care u can see night usage is also charged.

    Now I am afraid.

    Talk to the accounts officer. Call customer care and ask for his no. For better results, visit in person. If you have supporting data, take a print out with you. Or you can sign in using your portal ID and password in his system (ask permission) and show how it is.

    If possible, post a screen shot of your usage details after blackening personal details. Does it show usage during night unlimited as zero ?

    Are you checking in BSNL Portal
    or selfcare portals ?
    Check the Summary on top.
    Total less Free NU : ( deduct 1.5 GB data allowed )
    some portals record the NU separately but, it is expected
    that in final bill this will be ignored depending on plan.
    Two blocks : 0800A.M to 0200AM all charged.
    .....................0200AM to 0800 AM shown as counted not 0

    Download NetworX application and watch your usage for a single system.

    Hi freinds.. !!!
    I have a query and dont know how is that going to be solved.

    Well I had registered for the BSNL BB/LL connection on 22 March 11 that is before 31 of march. I got the LL conxn yesterday only and most probably the BB will start today. I talked to the BB officials and they say that the installtion charge will not be applicable in my case as the registration was done before 31 march. But they doubt if 15 days unlimited DL would be given or not.

    Now where to confirm his from. The web page with the scheme still exists in BSNL site.
    When I told the BB official that there are people who got the BB conxn after 31 march but had registered it before 31 march, were given this scheme, he said that I would too be given this facility.

    Here I would like to mention that these guys are private contrators and not BSNL staff.

    Can anyone guide me please... !!!!

    BB plan bbg-fn-500(night unlimited-1.5 GB data for day usage-175 calls).

    There is an easier way to check. Once the connection is active, go to data.bsnl.in (or your respective self care portal) and check whether the usage is reported as zero or not. If 15 days unlimited free is activated, the usage will show as zero.

    Normal Now. BSNL Portal Datafox ALSO logged in automatically.
    ( no idea whether faULT rectified because of my complaint.
    No harm in trying in future !!!!)

    Notice : breakup readings at 0800AM.

    When you get your connection, it will be accompanied by your ID and password for the usage check portal (if they don't give, insist on getting them). In the " orders " page of the portal, you can see the date of broadband connection activated. If it is on or before 31-03-2011, you can claim the offer. Try talking to the SDE or someone in the admin section.

    selfcare.ndc.bsnl.co.in
    You can register with your own ID. Password will be sent to the email address you provide.
    Get consumer number from A.O.

    Your quota for this month April day quota will be approx 90 or 120 MB. Excess download will be charged @MB.
    NU : ensure modem switched off at 0155 AM
    start 0205AM
    switch off 0800AM.

    Download Networx and keep track of your usage from today.
    Hourly/daily/weekly/monthly for a single system.

    I thought it should be in multiple of 50 MB. That is if I get the connection on 29 April then I should be getting 50*2=100MB, isnt it.

    Please correct me if and where I am wrong with reason.

    Also I have some doubt on the NU time thing. I posted that query in the other topic.

    Your are 100% correct.
    Error regretted. Did not edit/ the message/ error as forum pages were opening very slow.
