Thread: please help me with sharing my connection

i have a bsnl dataone broadband connection and i have 2 laptops and one nokia E 7-00 at my place and i want to connect all of them to my dataone connection at the same time.

i have a huawei wa1003A bsnl adsl modem wireless enabled.

i created a connection in one of my laptop to connect to internet using wifi.
my connection requires username and password so if i connect to the internet in one of my laptop then it never gets connected in other laptop.

also i tried setting up the modem to PPPoE always on mode but when through my browser i try to open 192.168.1.1 it never gets opened and i always get cannot find server page.

please can anyone help me how to share my internet connection.

but its not working for me i tried the modem multiuser configuration but after setting all the fields when i connect my adsl chord in the modem the internet doesn't gets connected. i also tried the setup as mentioned in the screenshots tutorial but the same problem exist.

Try rebooting the modem and check.

To do

1. Configure your modem in PPPoE/Always ON mode (hope you already did it ).

2. Enable DHCP in your modem.

3. In the TCP/IP properties of your connection (for all machines), set " Obtain IP address automatically)..

Try to BACKUP current settings to say C:/My Documents/Wa1003A OK
Check menu item in modem/router.
