please somebody explain why i am c charged this much. ....please

got my connection on 7/3/2011 ........ and paid 500 rupees advance ....

still i have not recieved hard copy of bill.... but i assume bill may be like this
i got my online bill through www,bangaloretelecom,com

+ 250.00 broadband installation charges
+ 250.00 telephone installation charges
+ 500.00 modem security deposit
+ 500.00 telephone connection deposit
+ 1,350.00 advance one month deposit
TOTAL 2850 = MISCLLANEOUS FACILITY CHARGES

+ 993.55 monthly charges OF BROADBAND
+ 18 RS FOR MODEM RENT ????????
+ 155.00 service tax
- 500 ADJUSTMENT FOR THE ADVANCE PAID INITIALLY AT TIMR OF BOOKING

But query why modem rent is low , it should 30+ rs ......

+ 18 RS FOR MODEM RENT ????????
( actual activation date of BB check in usage portal the day you were given modem and ID or Bsnl installed in your house ))
BB charges Rs 960/=approx ( Rs 1350/= PM)
Modem rent rs 50 x 2/3 Rs 33/= approx
Rs 18 may be call charges.
Bill seems ok.
BB installation charges FREE till 31/03/2011.

bb activation is from 7/3/2011 , but he installed on 10th ......

ya bill looks ok .... though i didnt know about telephone installation charges

ya ... i visited exchange ....... one of the employee explained me the bill like this ......

Accessory renatal = 993.55 rs
Accessory rent = monthly broadband usage charge + modem rent

broadband monthly bill from 10.3.2011 to 31.3.2011 ( 22 days ) + modem rent
for same period (22 days )
for 22 days monthly charge becomes 958.06 rupees and modem rent 35.48

So 958.06+35.48=993.54 rupees

Miscellaneous facility charge = 2850 rs = one time charges
+ 250.00 broadband installation charges
+ 250.00 telephone installation charges
+ 500.00 modem security deposit
+ 500.00 telephone connection deposit
+ 1,350.00 advance one month deposit
total = 2850 rupees

Service tax = 10.3% tax on monthly broadband charge (993.5 rs) +
+ 10.3% tax on broadband installation charge (250 rs) +
+ 10.3% tax on telephone installation charge ( 250 rs) +
+ 10.3% tax on rent (18 rs )

So tax= 102.33+25.75+25.75+1.854 = 155.69

less adjustment is the amount what i paid INITIALLY AT TIME OF BOOKING .. (500RS) REFUNDED ...


BUT HE FAILED EXPLAIN WHAT IS 18 RS RENT .........
