Thread: anyone uses 700 unlimited plan?

i am really pissed of by bsnl... i applied for plan change 2 months ago but still its the same!!

dad will be applying for plan change today
so i have a few questions about 700UL plan

do youtube videos load fast? how about miniclip games?
can i play mafia wars/farmville/cafe world in that plan? please check and tell me

I think you are talking about UL 750. I am using the same plan. YouTube has a bit of buffering, but manageable. I used to play Farmville which worked fine for me. Also used to play counter strike online with friends.

Better visit the exchange and give a plan change application. Or you can try this site (no registration required)

I used the 750 UL Combo plan at my home town in Assam (it is still active, my siblings use it). It was a painful process, getting the internet activated, even though I already had a landline. They took days to process the application and after paying the money, they called up a few days later to tell me they're out of modems. All in all, it took three months for the modem to arrive and get connected.

You get about 55 KB/sec download speeds, just as promised, nothing more, nothing less. Decent enough for browsing and a few downloads/uploads. The line disconnects and reconnects every few hours and some days, the internet is unavailable due to "Server problems, which will be resolved by the evening".

how is 600 combo?

see the different plans POST No 3..
and select whether you want Free telephone calls/ rent free telephone etc.
Speed of 256 Kbps will be d/l 32 KB/sec (IDEAL conditions ) U/l say 8 KB/sec.
For Online games higher speed better.
Downloading songs etc use Free Download Manager .
