Unhappy Beetel ADSL2+Modem 220BX1 with BSNL Dataone

    Hi,

I am trying to reuse Airtel Modem for BSNL DataOne broadband.

    My Modem Model : Beetel ADSL2+Modem 220BX1
    Location : Bangalore
    PPPoE/LLC SNAP connection Settings :
    VPI : 0
    VCI : 35
User Name for DataOne : xxxxx_yyyy
    passwd: *********

problem is : internet is not working.

I also tried to reset the modem and configured from the beginning but no use.

How to confirm that bsnl phone is good and trouble-shooting the modem settings?

I tried to check my bsnl dataone userid/password at bsnl dataone site. Userid and password are fine.

I also want to know whether this Beetel ADSL2 220BX1 + CPE modem is suitable for BSNL DataOne?

Anybody please help me in this regard?

    1. I followed all the configuration steps 1..14 to configure the Beetel ADSL2+modem model 220BX1, ADSL2 + CPE modem. Year Model : 2007, Its a airtel Modem
    2. In diagnostics page, its showed only Authentication to ISP -> PASS, and rest of all tests
    -> FAILED.
    3. Right now I am using any modem, connecting from my friends home.
    4. I am unable to get pppoE, and IP address every time its shows ADSL link down on the modem screen.
